There were three objectives of this research: 1) to study history and the importance of Luang Phor Petch Muang District, Uttaradit Province, 2) to study a media of the Buddhist art of Luang Phor Petch Muang District, Uttaradit Province, and 3) to study the influence of Luang Phor Petch to people in Muang District, Uttaradit Province. This research was a qualitative research by documentary and In-depth interviews methods. The results were as follows:
1) Luang Phor Phetch : the Buddha imagewas casted from bronze throughout the body. Impressed by the sitting meditation. Assumed to have been built since the Chiang Saen period or in the Buddha image group call that "Buddha image of Chiang Saen Singha 1". It was discovered in the year of the snake. And because of this, the Buddha was given the name of the Buddha image and is known throughout "Luang Phor Petch" continuity consecutive until today.
