In this thesis, three objectives: 1) to study the problems of Lottery sales overpriced in Thai society, 2) to study Mett­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ā in Buddhism, and 3) to study the application of Mett­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ā to solve the problems of lottery sales overpriced, were made. This is a documentary research studying documentaries, deep interview.

             From the study, it was found that the problems of Lottery are of five types: (1) retail overprice, (2) Dovetail overprice, (3) seting number sale, (4) Wholesale,            (5) Exchangesale.

             Mett­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ā is the love, the good wishes, the friendship and the state of having Loving kindness. Mett­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ā are of six types: (1) Mett­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ā in Brahmavih­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­āra, (2) Mett­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ā in Appamaññā, (3) Mett­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ā in S­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ār­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­āniya Dhamma, (4) Mett­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ā in Dasap­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­āramī, (5) ) Mett­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ā in Pañca – Dhammas, (6) Mettā in Ārakkha – Kammatthāna.

             The application of Mett­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ā  for solving the problems of lottery sales overpriced referred to three types: (1) the Mett­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ā in Brahmavih­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­āra applied for preventing the problems of the retail overprice, (2) the Mett­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ā in Pañca – Dhamma applied for preventing the problems of the Dovetail, and (3) the Mett­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ā in S­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ār­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­āniya Dhamma applied for preventing the problems of the seting number sale, Wholesale and Exchange sale.
