Abstract

Abstract

This research focuses on monitoring the reduction of expenses, increase of revenue and the amount of savings (household account) of 20 The 6th Grade Primary School students in Thung Kwang School, Moo 1, Ngang sub-district, Pua district, Nan province during their semester II in 2017 with the aims to 1) to study the enhancement of savings in the economics subject of the students; 2) to study the result of savings of the students for before and after joining group activities with the reinforcement of token economy of in economics subject in the learning group ‘Social Studies, Religion and Cultures’. The data was obtained through using the pretest and protest; and student observation form.

             The results of behavior about reduction of revenue, increasing expenditure and increasing the amount of savings (household account) were found that students understand the value of money from making household account, how to think and how to make comparison including realization of spending money. It made students change about spending money in better way. When the result of money savings encountered throughout the household account, students have motivation to save more money and bring ability about savings in order to apply for self- development, society and country to move forward.
