Abstract

The thesis entitled “People's Satisfaction with the Implementation of the Quality of Life Development Project, Dhamma Promotion Center, Saraphi District, Chiang Mai Province” consists of 2 objectives as 1) to explore the local residents’ satisfaction with the operation of the Quality of Life Development Project by Dhamma Promotion Center, Saraphi District, Chiang Mai Province and 2) to investigate the problems and suggestions about the implementation of the above project.

The sample group of respondents in this research was 396 local residents who were more than 15 years old and lived in twelve sub-districts of Saraphi district in Chiang Mai province. The purposive sampling technique was used to select the respondents. The researcher conducted the structured in-depth interview with 5 key informants. The questionnaires and interviews based on the aforementioned issues were employed as a research instrument to collect data. The collected data were subsequently analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, and standard derivation. The structured interview was also conducted for data analysis by categorizing opinions according to the principle of consistency. Analyzed results were presented in the descriptive way.

The results showed that according to the opinions of respondents towards the implementation of the Quality of Life Development Project, Dhamma Promotion Center, Saraphi District, Chiang Mai Province, they had their high satisfaction with the project operation in terms of its context, input, process, and product. It was thus concluded that the overall of its project operation had been rated at the high level.
