ABSTRACT
The research has the aim and objectives like: 1. to study a tattoo at Wat Bang Phra, Nakhon Pathom Province, 2. to study a tattoo of people coming to be tattooed at Wat Bang Phra,Nakhon Pathom Province, and 3. to study a comparison of beliefs in a tattoo of people coming to be tattooed at Wat Bang Phra, Nakhon Pathom Province distributed according to general informations. The samples used for this research are 100 out of all 140 people coming to be tattooed used as cluster sampling. The instruments used for datas collection are questionnaires about public opinion. Belief in a tattoo of people coming to be tattooed at Wat Bang Phra, Nakhon Pathom Province with 0.885 confidence in data analysis by using software packages for social science research. The statistics used for analyzing the data by means of frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and a comparison of public opinion. Belief in a tattoo of people coming to be tattooed at Wat Bang Phra, Nakhon Pathom Province. Analyzed by T-test, one-way analysis of variance and in care of difference of the overage more than 3 groups with the least significant difference: LSD.
Findings of research concluded as follows:
 1. Public opinion stands on the belief in a tattoo of people coming to be tattooed at Wat Bang Phra, Nakhon Pathom Province totally at a high level ( =4.27), Classed as public opinion found that the belief in a tattoo of people coming to be tattooed at Wat Bang Phra, Nakhon Pathom Province with the highest average value
( = 4.39) in Safety, with the lowest average ( =4.20) in invulnerability, with ( =4.23) in a mercy popularity, and with the lowest average ( = 4.28) in prevention respectively.
2. A comparison of public opinion stands on the belief in the talisman of people coming to be tattooed at Wat Bang Phra, Nakhon Pathom Province is found that people who have sex, age, level of education, status, occupation, a Number of times of tattering and kinds of tattoos are not totally different. We like to reject the posed hypothesis in monthly incomes and tattooed marks have different opinions on the belief in the talisman of people coming to be tattooed at Wat Bang Phra, Nakhon Pathom Province with overall difference at sadistically significant level ( 0.05), so we accept the posed hypothesis.
