Abstract

Abstract

 

The objectives of this thesis wereas follows 1) to study procedure roles in promoting student ethics and morality of school administrators in Cha-Uat District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 (the school administrators); 2) to compare procedure roles in promoting student ethics and morality of the school administrators of different genders, work experience, educational levels, school sizes and management positions; and 3) to study recommendations on procedure roles in promoting student ethics and morality of the school administrators. In this study, the population was 260 school administrators in Cha-uat District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary  Educational Service Area Office 3, Academic Year 2015. The sample size of 155 was determined by the sample size table of Krejcie and Morgan; the sampling methods comprised Stratified Random Sampling and Sample Random Sampling. Developed by the researcher, the research tool was a questionnaire at the confidence level of .986. In this research, the statistics included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test and to test the difference in each pair by Least Significant Difference (LSD)

The research results are as follows.

(1) The overall procedure roles in promoting student ethics and morality of the school administrators were at the high level. Considering each aspect, the aspect with the highest mean was improvement, followed by planning and implementation; the aspect with the lowest mean was examination. Classified by genders, work experience, educational levels, school sizes and management positions, the overall procedure roles were at the high level.

 (2) From the comparison on the procedure roles in promoting student ethics and morality of the school administrators, it was found that the school administrators of different genders, work experience, educational levels, school sizes and management positions had indifferent procedure role in promoting student ethics and morality at the statistical significance level of .05.

(3) Regarding recommendations on the procedure roles in promoting student ethics and morality of the school administrators, it was found that, in term of planning, the school administrators determined teacher regulations on promoting student ethics and morality. In term of implementation, the school administrators applied projects in promoting student ethics and morality. In term of examination, the school administrators examined projects and activities on promoting student ethics and morality. In term of improvement, the school administrators used meeting results in planning for improving and promoting student ethics and morality.
