Abstact

The objectives of the thesis entitled “The Promotion and Development of Sangha Potential of Rong Kho Sub-district, Wang Nue District, Lampang Province” were as follows: 1) to study the general condition of Buddhist monk in promotion and development of Sangha potential of Rong Kha sub-district, Wang Nue district, Lampang province, 2) to study the mechanism of promotion and development of Sangha potential of Rong Kha sub-district, Wang Nue district, Lampang province, and 3) to find out the guideline of promotion and development of Sangha potential of Rong Kha sub-district, Wang Nue district, Lampang province. This study was qualitative research by collecting data with in-depth interview. The researcher collected data by interviewing 15 Buddhist monks and descriptive data analysis.

The findings of this research as follows:

            1) The general condition of Buddhist monk in promotion and development of Sangha potential of Rong Kha sub-district, Wang Nue district, Lampang province. Training is a process that is organized to educate personnel, strengthen skill and expertise with an objective in raising operational standard, education that concern with cultivated values, attitudes, to add the knowledge, to use the judgment, understanding and wisdom. Personnel development are strengthening knowledge, understanding and expertise to Sangha personnel that can change the quite permanent behavior and attitude that will benefit.

            2) The mechanism of promotion and development of Sangha potential of Rong Kha sub-district, Wang Nue district, Lampang province. Training, education and development of personnel and Sangha, Sila or Precepts are tools in creating the rules in order to control behavior, disciplines, they are tools for elevating mental and change the attitude of personnel namely, having a view of work in the same direction, understanding in Buddhism principle in order to teach Buddhist people in understanding Buddhism principle correctly and having taken care, giving an advice in promotion and development of Sangha personnel  and faith in Buddhism by adhering to discipline of Buddha.

            3) The guideline of promotion and development of Sangha potential of Rong Kha sub-district, Wang Nua district, Lampang province. The promotion and development of personnel potential in fulfillment Sangha should have participation and train the Buddhist monk in order to the temple are community center by holding various activities. To be the tool in creating the community reconciliation that has academic education in Buddhism with various models and processes to Buddhist people. Education provides the system of promoting honor appropriately. To apply the principle of religion that pays respect in order to apply to practice in their daily life to develop themselves, community and society by understanding each other, having reconciliation with Buddhist people for the peace of the nation.
