Abstract

Abstract

              The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the level of the effectiveness on service of staff in Registration Office of Amphoeyim Project at Manorom District, Chainat Province, 2) to study the relationship between the personal factors and the effectiveness on the service of the staff in Registration Office of Amphoeyim Project at Manorom District, Chainat Province, and 3) to study the problems, obstacles and ways for the development of the effectiveness on the service of the staff in Registration Office of Amphoeyim Project at Manorom District, Chainat Province.

          This research applied the Mixed Methods Research consisting of the qualitative and quantitative research. The sample was 307 people served at Registration Office of Manorom District, Chainat Province. The tools of the research were questionnaire and in-Depth interview from the 8 key informants. The analysis of data used Statistical Package for Social Science. The statistics for analysis data used Frequencies, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, and Chi-Square test.

 

 

Results of the Research

 

              1. Overall, the level of the effectiveness on the service of the staff in Registration Office of Amphoeyim Project at Manorom District, Chainat Province was at the high level (=3.49). When considering each aspect, it was found that the management was at the highest level (= 3.77). Then, the staff was (= 3.56), the place was (= 3.42), and the proactive service was(= 3.38). However, the service process was at the lowest level (= 3.34).

 

2. The relationship between the personal factors and the effectiveness on the service of the staff in Registration Office of Amphoeyim Project at Manorom District, Chainat Province found that the gender, age, degree of education, occupation and income of the people had the relationship to the effectiveness on the service of the staff in Registration Office of Amphoeyim Project at Manorom District, Chainat Province at 0.01 of statistic significance. Therefore, the hypothesis was accepted. 

 

              3. The problems and obstacles of the service of the staff in Registration Office of Amphoeyim Project at Manorom District, Chainat Province were that the staff dressed inappropriately. The service process took a long time. The staff did not serve the people at noon. Moreover, the service place was narrow because of a lack of the budget. The people did not evaluate the service satisfaction. The ways for the development of the service of the staff in Registration Office of Amphoeyim Project at Manorom District, Chainat Province was that the staff should dress appropriately and help together.The service process  should  not took a long time. The Registration Office should provide the staff in the service to the people at noon. Moreover, the government should support the budget in enlarging the service place sufficient to the served people. The people did not evaluate the service satisfaction of Registration Office.
