Abstract

         The objectives of this research were : (1) to study the Opinions of people to the Monks on the Buddhism Propagation at Mueang District, Uttharadit Province,  (2) to study the Opinions of people to the Monks on the Buddhism Propagation at Mueang District, Uttharadit Province, (3) to study the problems, obstacles and  suggestions to Opinions of people to the Monks on the Buddhism Propagation        at Muang District, Uttharadit Province.  This research is the mixed method research. The sampling group was 244 monks on the Buddhism Propagation at Mueang District, Uttharadit Province. The researcher had the data analysis through frequencies, percentage, and average, standard deviation (S.D) for describing data from variables or personal characteristics. The analysis was also done through t-test for analysis the hypotheses in order to test the average difference between the two groups and       f- test by one-way ANOVA and key informants and the content data analysis and in-depth interview from interview through the content analysis technique.

         The findings of this research as following :

         1. To study the Opinions of people to the Monks on the Buddhism Propagation at Mueang District, Uttharadit Province, found that Opinions of people to the Monks on the Buddhism Propagation at Mueang District, Uttharadit Province,       in overall was at high level with an average 3.59.

         2. The findings the comparison to  the Opinions of people to the Monks on the Buddhism Propagation at Mueang District, Uttharadit Province, classified by personal data that found that the difference of age, ordination year, general education, had the opinion to the Opinions of people to the Monks on the Buddhism Propagation at Mueang District, Uttharadit Province indifferently. It rejected the hypothesis.

         3. The problem, obstacles and guidelines for the Opinions of people to Monks on the Buddhism Propagation at Mueang District, Uttharadit Province, found that the people would like to see the Opinions of people to the Monks on the Buddhism Propagation at Mueang District, Uttharadit Province to teach the people and to advise to behave well according to Dhammavinaya.
