THE EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT ACCORDANCE WITH TRI SIKKHA OF WAT SUBBORN CHARITY SCHOOL

Abstract

ABSTRACT

This research had 3 objectives: 1) to study the concept and theory of educational management  accordance with Tri Sikkha of Wat Subborn Charity School, Beung Samphan District, Phetchaboon Province, 2) to study the educational management accordance with Tri Sikkha of Wat Subborn Charity School, Beung Samphan District, Phetchaboon Province and 3) to submit any guidances of educational management  accordance with Tri Sikkha of Wat Subborn Charity School, Beung Samphan District, Phetchaboon Province. This research was done as a surevey and qualificative research by distributing the interviewing forms, then brought the educational concept accordance with Tri Sikkha to be applied into the management. The educational management focused to long term goal of developing individual and the society. Anyways, in general, educational management had several objectives to hit the goals. The process of educational management consisting, of 5 missions: 1) Academic Science, 2) Human Resources, 3) Students Activity, 4) Clerical and 5) Community’s Relationship which all were done by using the following theory:

1. Studying the concept and theory of educational management accordance with Tri Sikkha of Wat Subborn Charity School, Beung Samphan District, Phetchaboon Province, the results of this study disclosed that there were 3 theories of educational management as 1) theory of Scientific Study classifying the jobs of the executives and the guidances of performances which should be done each with efficiency, 2) theory of Human Relationship Study which educational administrators needed to be developed concerning their relationship with the others in the society and might be developed and improved regularly on their behaviors and roles such as behaving themselves for both the beginners and the supporters, the cooperators, the advisors of the other’s actions, including accepting the wisdom of the groups and 3) theory of Behavioral Science to Control and take care on the management of educational institutions which this relationship was not only in the form of controlling or taking care but also in the form of asking for some supporting form the executives to the institutions on various matters as financial supporting, register laws and seeking for personnels.

2. Studying the educational management accordance with Tri Sikkha of Wat Subborn Charity School, Beung Samphan District, Phetchaboon Province, it was found that Wat Subborn Charity School was managed in the form of the committee for both the school’s and the intraexecutives’. Educational management was the main job of each educational institution which could be shown its standard and quality of the education and also identified the progress of such institution. Educational management accordance with Tri Sikkha of Wat Subborn Charity School was the process of learning applied by Tri Sikkha through integrating the processes of Charity Schools in Buddhism which let the learners have their opportunities to learn the principle of morality related to Society (Sila), Peace (Samadhi) and to have knowledge and use it carefully (Panna). The learners had to do their real practices. Education was the tool to raise the level of human’s mind and could change human’s behavior form bad to good one, including could build the thinking of human’s worthy to the learners leading to the real change of human which having the basic concept of educational management accordance and proper with Tri Sikkha.

3. The guidances of educational management accordance with Tri Sikkha of Wat Subborn Charity School Beung Samphan District, Phetchaboon Province, it appeared that the executive had broad vision, leadership and created thinking to develop the learners by holding on Tri Sikkha and management on participation together with using the, information of the evaluation or the results of the research as the base of thinking for both academic science and management which led to the goal mentioned in the operating plan, encouraged developed the personnels’ capacity to be ready to receive the spreading power while the learners, the parents and the communities satisfied with the management . All stated had shown the good results because of 1) building the factor of Sammaditthi (right understanding) meant the right views consisting of managing resources on every item to manage the school, 2) the process of practices accordance with Tri Sikkha meant to the learning process by using Tri Sikkha, creating good atmosphere and friendly connection with activities to develop the learners and 3) measured and evaluated the usage of Tri Sikkha applied in educational management meat learners had been developed on physical figures, Sila, minds and wisdom. Whenever the person had his faith or, thinking or bad Sammditthi, he would be ready to develop (right) himself to the level of Sikkha. The development to the level of Sikkha in Buddhism was called Tri Sikkha: Sila, Sammaditthi and Panna which made the person developed himself integratedly and built the humans to be as a whole who were developed with best quality.
