Abstract

 

Abstract

              The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the concept, theory, and Dhamma principle in the human resource development according to the Bhãvãnã Dhamma (the development) at Police Training Center Region 6 in Nakhon Sawan Province, 2) to study the level of the human resource development according to the Bhãvãnã Dhamma  at Police Training Center Region 6 in Nakhon Sawan Province and 3) to study the problems and suggestions for the human resource development according to the Bhãvãnã Dhamma at Police Training Center Region 6 in Nakhon Sawan Province.

          This research applied the Mixed Methods Research consisting of the qualitative and quantitative research. The sample was 110 police at Police Training Center Region 6. The tools of the research were questionnaire and in-Depth interview from the 8 key informants. The statistics for analysis data used Frequencies, Percentage, Mean, and Standard Deviation.

 

 

Results of the Research

 

              1. The concept, theory, and Dhamma principle in the human resource development according to the Bhãvãnã Dhamma at Police Training Center Region 6 in Nakhon Sawan Province were that the human resource development was characteristic in the organization. The human resource development focused on 3 activities: the training, the education and the development. The principle of the human resource development in Buddhism was the Bhãvãnã: Kaya-Bhãvãnã (the physical development), Sila-Bhãvãnã (the moral development), Citta-Bhãvãnã (the emotional development), and Panna-Bhãvãnã (the wisdom development).      

 

              2.  Overall, the level of the human resource development according to the Bhãvãnã Dhamma  at Police Training Center Region 6 in Nakhon Sawan Province was at the middle level (µ=3.39). When considering each aspect, it was found that the human resource development according to Kaya-Bhãvãnã was at the highest level (µ= 3.48). However, the human resource development according to Citta-Bhãvãnã was at the lowest level (µ= 3.30).  

              3. The problems in the human resource development according to the Bhãvãnã Dhamma at Police Training Center Region 6 in Nakhon Sawan Province were that the police had a lack of the motivation in the working quality development, a lack of the skills in the application of the information technology, and a lack of the training in the special job to the personnel.

              The suggestions for the human resource development according to the Bhãvãnã Dhamma at Police Training Center Region 6 in Nakhon Sawan Province were that the Police Training Center Region 6 should provide the activities to activate the personnel, make the morale to the personnel such as giving the scholarship, provide the training in the technology knowledge to the personnel getting the information update, provide the training in the special job, develop the personnel for emphasizing the mind more than the material,  provide the activities in cultivating the conscious and support the training in Samadhi-Vipassana.
