The objectives of this research are 1) to study the temple management with applying 4 Bhromaviharas as the opinion of monks in Nakhonchisi District, Nakhonpathom Province, 2) to compare the temple management with applying 4 Bhramaviharas according to the opinion of monks in Nakhonchaisi District, Nakhonpathom Province, by separating in individual characteristics and 3) to study the problems, obstacles, suggestions of the temple management with applying 4 Bhrammaviharas as the opinion of monks in Nakhonchaisi District, Nakhonpathom Province
The process of the research was made in the form of the Mixed Method Research. For the way of quantitative research, the data from 254 Buddhist monks in Nakhonchaisi District, NakhonpathomProvince, was studied, the instrument used for collecting the data in this research was the questionnaire that was divided into 3 sections. The 1st section was the questionnaire about the general data of the questionnaire answer givers. The 2nd section was the questionnaire of Buddhist monks’ opinion of the temple management with applying 4 Bhramaviharas by the way of separating into 6 aspects. The 3rd section was the questionnaire concerned with problems, obstacles and suggestions of the temple management with applying 4 Bhramaviharas according to the opinion of Buddhist monks in Nakhonchaisi District, NakhonpathomProvince. The analyzing the data was made by valuation of frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and F-test. It was analyzing one way ANOVA. Testing the difference of mean in pair made by LSD (Least Significant Difference). For the qualitative research, the data were collected by the way of in-depth interview.
From the result of the research, it has been found that
1. Buddhist monks’ opinion of the temple management with applying 4 Bhramaviharas, in generally, was at the level “much “
2. For the comparative analysis of Buddhist monks’ opinion of the temple management with applying 4 Bhramaviharas as the opinion of Buddhist monks in Nakhonchaisi District, Nakhonpathom province, being divided according to individual status, it has been found that most of the Buddhiat monks whose age, educational qualification and Dhamma educational qualification were different did not have the different opinion of this. Hereby, the hypothesis set was refused. However, the Buddhist monks whose rrains-retreat and Pali educational qualification were different would have the different opinion with statistical significance at the level 0.05. Hereby, the hypothesis set was accepted.
3. Most of the problems of the temple management with applying 4 Bhramaviharas have been found that the Ecc. Administrative monks lacked the knowledge and ability of managing the organanization, lacked the budget for educational supporting , There was no training monks and novices in the knowledge of propagation and the temple and community lacked the cooperation for holding activities.
The suggestion of the temple management with 4 Bhramaviharas as the opinion of Buddhist monks in Nakhonchaisi District, NakhonpathomProvince was that the Ecc. Administrative monks should have the knowledge and ability of the organization management, the budget supporting education should be given, the training monks and novices to have the knowledge and ability of propagating Dhamma should be done and also the temple and the community should have the cooperation for doing activities.
From the interview, it has been seen that the temple management with applying 4 Bhramaviharas as the opinion of Buddhist monks in Nakhonchaisi District is running on, but increasing more efficiency must be done in order support the temple management for monks and novices to have more knowledge to be the guideline for the temple management. |
