The objectives of this thesis are 1) to study the violation by the five precepts in the Buddhist Scripture 2) to study the problems arising from the violating the 5th of the Five Precepts by the youths 3) to analytically study the violation of the fifth precept out of the Five Precepts by the youths according of the Buddhist way.
From the research, The precept it found that is the procedure to abstain from the unwholesome course of action, and to do goodness to action the highest life destination. Especially, the Five Precepts are the bases that can make the people live together. For this reason, the Five Precepts are the ways that are very important to practice very well for everybody with consist of 1) the abstention from killing 2) the abstention from taking what is not given 3) the abstention from sexual misconduct 4) the abstention from the false speech 5) the abstention from intoxicants causing the heedlessness to arise to the takers.
In fact, the Thai youths who violate the five precepts destroy their mindfulness awareness and temperament cement the fact of which cause them to negligent, unreasonable and irregularity in their lives, because the drugs can cause the youths not be able to control themselves. For this reason, the drugs can cause the youths to violate the Five precepts, because the five precepts are the social fundamentality.
In this situation, the drugs have been developed step by set from the natural narcotics to new generally dangerous drugs. This, the niceties are the affects to the youths who use the drugs. The youths are the group who have the Chance to enter the drug society easily, because they are desirous of knowing and testing the narcotics. So they are very easy to violate the fifth precepts. If the state cannot carry out the way to present it very well, the problems of the narcotics still increase very much.
So, the study of violation of 5th precept should use the way of solving the problems by using the inside outside factors. The inside factor is Yonisomanasikara which is the right way meaning the thought and the analytical reflection and outside factor. The outside fact is Parathoghosa which is the others inducements: the teaching, the learning, the finding and of the knowledge, and the conversation. The above mentioned factors are the import factors to cause the youths to carry out their lives properly with mindfully and awareness. Which are there life controlling factors and which will not cause the Thai youths not to violate the 5 precepts. |
