The Management of Foreign Workers of Small and Medium Enterprises in Bangkok Metropolitan

Abstract

  The objectives of this research were 1) to study the management of foreign workers of Small and Medium enterprises in Bangkok Metropolitan, 2) to compare the management of foreign workers of Small and Medium enterprises in Bangkok Metropolitan, and 3) to study the problems and solutions to the management of foreign workers of Small and Medium enterprises in Bangkok Metropolitan. The research were mixed research both quantitative and qualitative research. The sampling population are the 361 residents of the 3,708 total population whom are between 18-61 years old in  Small and Medium enterprises in Bangkok Metropolitan, using Taro Yamane formula. Sampling data were analyzed by using a computer program for social science research. The data analysis was comprised of frequency, percentage, statistics, analysis and opinion on the human resource management of Chiang Mai Provincial Administrative Organization. The statistics were composed of the Frequencies, Mean and Standard Deviation for describing and testing hypotheses by the personal factors. The t-test results were the differences between the two groups. F-test was done by means of analyzing, One Way ANOVA was tested the difference of Means from the three groups upward. The test of the differences Means in each pair was done by the Least Significant Difference: LSD. The qualitative research method used the in-depth interview with the key informants and collaborating the context by the content analysis technique.

The research findings were as follows:
1) The management of foreign workers of Small and Medium enterprises in Bangkok Metropolitan was overall opinion in the moderate level (  =3.14), (S.D. =0.467), and considering wholeheartedly work in the highest level ( = 3.82),(S.D. = 0.887)  and  followed by working and leaving on time ( = 3. 80 S.D. = 0. 920) and in the final level is to convince or set an example for others to follow the ( = 3. 5 1, S.D. = 0. 9 83)  considering work in the high level. 
2) The opinion compared on the management of foreign workers of Small and Medium enterprises in Bangkok Metropolitan classified by  personal factors such as gender, age, education, occupation, and  income  average the operating period and authorized capital found that people with gender, age, education level has no different opinion on the management of foreign workers of Small and Medium enterprises in Bangkok Metropolitan. Whereas the population who had different sex,  income education and positions was found different opinion in the significance at level 0.05.  
3) The suggestions about the management of foreign workers of Small and Medium enterprises in Bangkok Metropolitan found that the enterprises should have the training language to the Chief of staff in order to convey to the employees to prevent the less mistake. There should be a job training prior to employment training staff to understand the regulation and cultural well-being, prospective employees, punctual work, and reduce the loss of efficiency .To competency the wages, enterprises should develop the working skills to create in thinking for employees to develop the new idea by convention management staff proposed the concepts how to solve the problem by themselves in priority and easier job. Then, the executives should give an advice on the equipment, waste material, recycle and maintenance methods. Entrepreneur should find an opportunity to talk to the staff frequently to imprint the fact. The training of misconduct on eating out, and lately arrival work, absence, or change jobs frequently, orderly and performed together in orderly regulations, selected passport workers, and the declared passpot of aliens, keeping clean all the time to prevent all problems. In order to prevent problems with various things, the executives should set all regulations as a prototype of the application in the enterprise model.
