The findings of this study are concluded as follows:
Leadership in respects of concepts and theory must correspond with a leader with a vision for reform and inspire the followers to use a clear vision into action in order to work to achieve even better results. The leaders should give priority to others over ourselves., place their trust to others, enhance strengths and minimize the weaknesses of the followers. He or she can build understanding of each issues relating to the operations of the organization. This concept, therefore, stressed the need for leaders to have an understanding and adapt to meet the needs and motives of followers. They should behave as a good example to others. Leadership is an influence on the success of the reform movement in this era of globalization. With regard to the leadership principles in Buddhism, it is found that leadership is a factor that is essential for leaders and managers at all levels. To make himself a capable leader, it needs leadership to make it happen. Moreover, the definition or meaning of leadership and leadership are many and vary according to the viewpoint of individual scholars. In the nature of the leader in Buddhism there are two aspects, namely, the nature and characteristics of the Righteous King and Divine King. And leadership principles that religious leaders should have and should be applied.
For personal leadership of Phrathamsittinayok (Chalerm Bandhurangsi), it is noticed that he was exemplary leader of the Sangha., provided a good practice example as the leader (ô) of Bangkok elder monks with the compassion and justice. He has followed the teaching or advising methods in light with the Buddha's four reasons for the leadership in administering six Sangha’s affaires, namely, for the administration: he is a leading figure in organizing meetings and seminars in the his administrative area in accordance with the Sangha Elders council’s Resolution; for religious studies, he is outstanding monk in teaching Dhamma and Pali studies and always has policies to supports it; for welfare education, he has set up the welfare fund for education for students in elementary school and sponsors scholarships over the years and he is also the chairman of the scholarship to the students; for the Buddhism propagation, he is preaching the Buddha’s principles and give s lectures and Dhamma talks in TBC television and also supports the training of new Sangha administrators; for the construction, he has been a leader in the restoration and renovation antiquities and set up a committee to supervise the construction; and for social welfare, he is the leading person in public assistance operation to support social welfare and he is also helping others in various means and aspects, he is a leader in helping the flood victims in the year 2011 in the central provinces and Bangkok..
For the application of the leadership of Phrathamsittinayok (Chalerm Bandhurangsi) for current ecclesiastical affairs in Thailand , it is found that Venerable is a leader in the management of Sangha affaires in all six aspects in balancing manner by following teachings of Buddha, Buddha’s disciples and teachers who had/have ever taught. In order to stay in compliance with regulatory discipline.. All levels of Sangha administrators in Thailand are able to apply the Venerable’s leadership in light with the Buddha’s teachings like Sappurisadhamma 7, Brahmaviharadhamma 4, and Sangahavutthu 4 for six aspects of Sangha affaires to drive the Sangha organizations to achieve the gaols with great efficiency. If the ecclesiastical leaders lack leadership in the management of ecclesiastical affairs. It would not operate with the Sangha affaires with the success. This will cause damage to the Sangha, but if the Sangha leaders have good leadership. They can perform their tasks thoroughly and efficiently, which will be particularly useful to the Sangha of Thailand.
