Abstract

The purposes of this research are 1) to study the teachers’ opinion levels to the administration based on good-governance in Savannakhet Teacher Training College of Laos 2) to compare the teachers’ opinion levels to the administration based on good-governance in Savannakhet Teacher Training College of Laos 3) to study the problems, obstacles and suggestion in administration based on good-governance in Savannakhet Teacher Training College of Laos. The independent variables were gender, age, qualification, work experience and position. There were a total of 127 samples chosen. The research instruments were questionnaires form prepared by the researcher with 0.95 reliability gained. The statistics used for the data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test (Independent sample), One-way ANOVA, and Scheffe’ post hoc comparison method. Every data analysis was calculated by the readily complete window programs.

The research findings were as follow:
1. The teachers’ opinion levels to the good-governance based administration in 6 categories were high in aspects. When it’s considered in each aspect, it’s found that the average scores were highest in every area. It’s ordered from high to low as follow the rule of law, participation, responsibility, morality, utility and transparency.
2. The results of hypothesis testing found that the teachers with differences in gender, age, work experience and position have different opinions on good-governance based administration with not statistically significant .05 levels. This does not testify the hypothesis to be true. However the teachers with different qualifications have different opinions on good-governance based administration with statistically important .01 levels which meets the assumptions that the teachers with different qualifications have the opinions differently.
3. Problems and Suggestion are the college director should follow the good governance principles in project planning, and take an importance of the teachers’ comments and suggestions to consider the positive and negative points. At the same time he should also use the good governance in their occupation complying with the government policy, give the support, knowledge, and understanding of the administration based on good governance principles and take this research output to be a reference for action-plan setting to further develop the education in modernization, quality, and efficiency.
