Abstract

              The objectives of this research are: 1) to study people’s opinions toward the leadership of the Sub-District administrative organization chief executive in Nongki  District, Buriram Province, 2) to compare of the people’s opinions toward the leadership of the Sub-District administrative organization chief executive in Nongki  District, Buriram Province, classified by personal factors, and (3) to study the problems, obstacles and suggestions of the leadership of the Sub-District administrative organization chief executive in Nongki  District, Buriram Province. The study was conducted by Mixed Method with the application of quantitative and qualitative researches.The survey research was used for this study and the exemplary groups are 394 people in the area of 4 Sub-Districts. The analysis is carried out by using the complete programmer for the social research. The used statistic is the frequency, the percentage, the average and the standard aviation. The test of the superstition is carried out by the Test of the value of the T-Test and and f-test by one way analysis of variance (One Way ANOVA) for testing the difference between the averages from three or more groups with least significant difference : LSD. The data collected from key informants were analyzed by contents analysis technique.

 

 

The findings of this study are concluded as follows:

1. The people opinions toward the leadership of the Sub-District administrative organization chief executive in Nongki  District, Buriram Province, at the low levels (  = 2.29) in all aspects. Having considered by each aspect, found that the leadership of the Sub-District administrative organization chief executive in Nongki  District, Buriram Province at the low levels at all aspects.

2. To comparison of people’s opinions toward the leadership of the Sub-District administrative organization chief executive in Nongki  District, Buriram Province, classified by personal factors, such as age, education and occupation were found significant differences at 0.01 level, monthly income were not found statistically significant different.

3. The problems and obstacles regarding the state of the leadership of the Sub-District administrative organization chief executive in Nongki  District, Buriram Province, are: 1) the Chief Executive lack of vision and do not understand the real problem and the needs of people, 2) the Chief Executive do not allow people to comment on the plan in its annual budget development, 3) the Chief Executive have a vision to work but do not follow the vision, 4) the Chief Executive lack of knowledge and lack of experience in management, use a personal feeling to work with it is wrong for some, 5) the activities with the community of management the lowest. Make people feel distant to each other, and 6) the Chief Executive do not have public mind, do not have a good relationship with the people.

For the Suggestion, Vision Aspect: 1) the Chief Executive should investigate the problems and needs of the people to understand in order to solve the problem correctly, 2) should allow people to get involved in community development and listen to people opinion, 1) should provide training to enhance their knowledge and experience in management to Chief Executive, 2) the people want Chief Executive are eager to work more, earnest with the work, and really work for the people. Human Relations Aspect: 1) the administrator’s should participants in the community and meeting with people more, 2) the Chief Executive should have public mind, discuss and have a good relationship with the people.
