Abstract

ABSTRACT

 

This is a descriptive research  undertaken to study the appropriate models of the management of Phrapariyattitham  Education Curricurum, Dhamma Section and Pali Section and to study the  general subjects the monks  and novices should study in this Curriculum.  The samples consisted of 26 experts. Sixteen of them are monks and ten are laymen. The research  tools are the constructed questionnaires with 5 responses and 5 models of the management of Phrapariyattitham Education Curricurum.

It was found that 100% of experts express their opinions that on the basis of the right given according to Education Act, the Sangha’s  Phrapariyuttitham Education Curricurum should  be developed, improved and changed  accordingly, and the first appropriate model of the management of Phrapariyattitham Education Curricurum is the model NO.1 that gives an opportunity to monks and novices to study Naktham and Pali together with general subjects from the educational level of Matthayomsuksa 1 to that of Ph. D. Degree. The general subjects that monks and novices should study in the Phrapariyuttitham Education Curriculum are foreign languages, Thai, Social Studies, Religion and Culture, Mathematics, Arts, Science, Health and physical Education, and career work  and Technology.
